MULCH INFORMATION:

PROCUREMENT OF MULCH BY SYLVAN POINT CONDO OWNERS WITH PICK-UP AND DELIVERY BY SYLVAN POINT STAFF.
 
Yes we are going to do mulch again but earlier than we did our first year.   If the idea of trying to get 10, 20, or 30 bags of dirty, heavy, messy mulch in you car is not appealing we might have an answer. 
Bob, our Superintendent, has offered to help in the following way and here is how it will work:
 
You the unit owner determine how much mulch you need (i.e. 10 bags, 20 bags, etc.) *  You will give a check to Arnie Monahan (unit 85)

based on the following calculation:
 # of bags   xxx   times  $ 4.25  (includes tax)
 Example:  20 bags x  $ 4.25 = $85.00

Timberline Cedar Mulch (Home Depot – should you want to get your own) is what has been chosen as the mulch for consistency at Sylvan Point.
 
 Bob will then bring the mulch back to your unit where he and his men will unload it (NOT SPREAD IT) at your predetermined location.
 
SPREADING OF MULCH AT OWNERS UNIT

Upon receipt of mulch each unit owner can then decide how he or she wants it put down.   Do it themselves or
Sylvan Point work crew can be hired for $15 per hour to put down the mulch after normal working hours or on weekends.

Hire outside contractors who MUST first register their Workmen’s Compensation insurance and license information with the office.
 
*  Each bag of mulch is 2 cubic ft. with the approx. coverage as follows:    2” in depth covers 12 square ft
3” in depth covers   8 square ft
The amount of much is ultimately the decision of the unit owner.  There are many calculators in the market place one that I use is found on the web site, mulchmfg.com.
 
** ORDERS WITH MONEY MUST BE TO ARNIE MONAHAN BY APRIL 10th  FOR AN APRIL 11TH  FIRST DELIVERY.  FURTHER DELIVERIES WILL BE PLANNED WHEN ENOUGH ORDERS ARE ACCUMULAT

If you are in need of repairs or service in your unit, please fill out a service request form  on the website or stop in the office to pick up a service request form and you will be put “on the list”.

Any work to be done by private contractors
must be approved by the office beforehand.
Also, you must supply the office with a copy of the
contractor’s license and insurance policy.
